Session 1: AP Pilot Accounting Program
This session will provide teachers with information about the initiative to create an AP Accounting course and exam. The presenter will address the goals of the initiative, the content of the pilot course, and how teachers can participate in the pilot and implement the course. Presented by Joe Navickas, Deerfield High School

Session III:  What's in Your Learner Centered Toolbox?

"Warning:  Active Learners Only--Hard Hat and Toolbox provided!!  Put on your hard hats and let's get to work! In this session you will be actively participating in learning activities that will energize your classroom.  Sample a few of the many tools you'll be taking home in your toolbox.  Learner-centered activities get your students involved, motivated, and moved.  Students who are active learners become responsible learners!  The activities we will be showcasing are active learning strategies that can be designed for any subject!  Come on in, put on your hard hat, grab a toolbox and let's start learning!"
